In order to provide world-class programming and services, Barkerville relies on admissions during our main season and shoulder season special events. Admission goes towards a variety of expenses to ensure we can open the doors and maintain the site for visitors.
Welcome Centre Hours: 9AM – 5PM Daily starting August 2nd
Daily Admission
Regular admission includes entrance to the site for the day, as well as all public programming and demonstrations. GST not included.
General (13-64): $20.00
Seniors (65+): $15.00
Youth (4-12): $10.00
Admission for our Main Season can be purchased in advance online.

Annual Pass
An annual pass provides free admission to Barkerville Historic Town & Park from May 1 of the year purchased to April 30 of the following year. GST not included.
General (13-64): $50.00
Seniors (65+): $37.50
Youth (4-12): $25.00

Note: Annual passes to Barkerville are no longer directly associated with Friends of Barkerville and the Cariboo Goldfields Society memberships. Memberships to the society are still available as a separate purchase.

2024/2025 Shoulder Season
September 9, 2024 – May 30, 2025
Live programming, including shops and eateries, are in hibernation for the winter. Please enjoy a self-guided tour by donation!
Walk-In Gate:
8:00 AM – 8:00 PM daily
Administration Office:
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Monday to Friday, closed weekends and statutory holidays.
Exhibits, public programming, campground, accommodations, and shops and eateries will re-open May 31 – September 7, 2025.
